How about a dream chart? Yes I want you to start dreaming big, I want you to start working with people who have big dreams and goals.

I want you to start challenging yourself, start by asking yourself these questions to experience long term success. Why are you here? What are your goals? What is it that you want to accomplish?

One of the first things you need to do to experience long term success is to start setting those goals and doing some planning. It is up to you to decide, it is time to understand what you truly want. Take responsibility for your own results in your life if you want to experience long term success.

We get bombarded with information each day, every second of everyday and if we were to take all of this in our brains would explode. This is why it is so important to set goals to experience long term success.

Use this compass to avoid all the noise, you want to pay close attention to only those things that are most important to you. Your goals are very important to experience long term success.

How about those people you associate with everyday, do you think they have any bearing on your success? Are they holding you back from getting what you want? You need to surround yourself with others who have the same mindset, this can be done online you will find plenty of people who are willing to help you if you want to experience long term success. Surround yourself with winners and you will experience long term success.

Do you think mindset has anything to do with goal setting? This morning when I was following up with a few other online entrepreneurs on skype: I asked just one simple question “How much money do you want to make online?” Now you would think this would be an easy question but here are a few answers I received.

“I really have never given this much thought Chery” “I don’t feel this is all that important Is it?” “I wanted to make as much as possible weekly” “It’s hard to put a price figure on how much”

Do you have the right mindset to work your online business? Do you think that by having the right mindset, will have any impact in you making money or not with your online business?

While networking I met a gal named Darleen and we really hit it off right from the start, we both had some of the same health challenges as well as the same financial goals.

Are You Kidding Me? Do you really believe there is a secret to success? Do you think you will ever find that secret? If you do believe there is a secret to success I am here to today to pop your bubble, so to speak.

There Is No Secret To Success

There are quite a few online entrepreneurs who go searching and searching online to find that secret! They think if they can just learn this secret to success that they can become successful. Here is what I am going to share with you there is no secret to success.

You can although get the education and learn the skills which will help you expand and grow into success. Let me share a quick story with you here, when I first lost my job as a bar manager after many years, I did take my search online. OMG I started buying all these informational products, not sure why, hell I didn’t even know what to do with them. Then I would listen to anyone who would tell me they had this secret to success. And you know what I would do?

Yes I would jump on board with anyone who told me they had this secret to success. Can you guess where this got me? IN DEBT BIGTIME! Yes I ran my credit cards up to the hilt. I was in way over my head and it was time to realize that there really was no secret to success.

I am sure my story has striked a cord with many of you all those shiny bells and whistles that are online are all very tempting to us. We think that there is an easier way, that there is a true secret to success.

Listen To Mary As She Talks About Her Secret To Success

I was talking with a gal yesterday lets just call her Mary, well I met Mary online a few months back and she told me she is a success secret seeker. Well, I was telling Mary about the launch of my new online business and invited her to take a look. She didn’t really want any details all she wanted to know was how much money she could make.

When I told her she only needed to share this opportunity with two people to be into profit, Mary started yelling at me.. Here is what she said “I ain’t gonna get into no nickle and dime business. I want to make millions, not nickles and dimes.”

WOW I knew right then and there that Mary truly did believe there is a secret to success. She didn’t even want to look at the compensation plan or listen to me any further. All she was looking for was a way to make money online with out actually doing anything. Not very realistic, because in any business you find you will have to take some kind of action.

If you just keep buying what you think are the secrets to success and never actually do anything then you are not going to succeed. What you do need to do is find a product or a service that will help others.

Once you do find this then you need to start making sure that you give more value in return for the value you receive, then sell one item to one customer, one sale at a time.

Well Mary she just thought she could succeed all at once, this is a myth, one sale isn’t going to cut it. She wanted a big sale immediately instead of making sales over and over again. I told her she only needed 2 sales to get into profit, but she thought she can find this so called secret to success without my help. Without selling anything I guess!

What I think is she was looking for me to do this for her, rather than taking the time to find the tools and learn the skills needed to find her secret to success.

If you want to succeed online or anywhere in life you have to “do” something. Keep searching and learning everything you can, then start giving back until you get the success you seek. There Are NO Secrets To Success.

Many people know the truth! Many people have the ability! Many people have what is required to succeed! But … very, very few succeed because they are seeking for the secret to success rather than just doing something.

What Not To Do When Phone Prospecting

Do you know what you are going to talk about when phone prospecting? More importantly do you know what not to say? I am going to go over a few things that you should say and then I am going to share what not to do when you are phone prospecting.

We all have to start somewhere and in the beginning we all do A LOT of things wrong! And I am hoping that by giving you these tips on not what to say, that you will be on your way to having better conversations with your phone prospecting and from day one that you will be more successful because of this.

Here Are a Few Things To Do & A Few Not To Do When Phone Prospecting

• Do Have Fun!
• Be prepared with a pen and paper.
• Do call all of your leads, this is the importance of phone prospecting, call them.
• Do Not-Don’t do it- Go posting hundreds of ads so you cannot handle all of the leads that come in.

When people hit your ad they are looking for your help. So my advice would be to test out your ad and see how many leads this generates so you can start prospecting with them as soon as they log in.

If you are posting your ads world wide be sure that these people can actually do business with you. You don’t want to waste your time calling them and prospecting with them if they cannot even join you. Let alone you will have the expense of this call.

Oh and make sure that you can speak their language, how funny would that be to get a hold of them and start phone prospecting with someone you can’t even understand. You don’t want to be calling someone in Mexico if you cannot speak Spanish, Right? Of course not this will just be a waste of your time.

Is E-Mailing Your Leads Better Than Phone Prospecting?

Phone ProspectingDo not send an e-mail to your leads if you do have a phone number for them. With phone prospecting you have a much better chance of getting to know your prospects. If you do not get a hold after a few trys then by all means go ahead and send them an e-mail. If you didn’t get their phone number, when you shoot them an e-mail ask for it or give them your phone number so that you can start phone prospecting with them.

A big part of phone prospecting is to take control of the conversation right away by asking them questions. If you do loose this you will loose the sale. So take control, do not display any sort of weakness or they will take over, do stay on your toes and ask a question with a question if you need to.

Never give out your company’s name when phone prospecting, they will head right to Google and just might find something negative about your company. This negativity could be from someone who is just trying to generate leads for their own company, so take notice of this one.

Is It Alright To Lie When Phone Prospecting?

There are things that I have done that I don’t want you to do. I want you to be a phone prospecting expert. Do not lie to anyone, it doesn’t matter what the question is. If someone asks you a question, you don’t have to answer it. Like I said earlier, just answer the question with a question.

If they ask you how much money you have made and you haven’t made any yet.

Here are a few examples of what you could say:

• How much money would I have had to make for you to get started today?
• How much money would I have had to make to make to make you happy?
• How much money would you like to make?
• What kind of money are you looking to make?

If they ask is this an MLM Thing, ask them if they are looking for an MLM thing? People are so starved for attention, just get them talking and don’t make things complicated when phone prospecting, just have fun.

Ask a question with a question! Don’t Lie! You don’t want to be a wimp, don’t let them get control of the conversation when phone prospecting. It does happen, but if you are willing to pick up the phone and start making those calls you are going to get better with every dial you make.

The only way you can take control when phone prospecting is to dial, dial and dial again. You will learn the skills needed to become good at phone prospecting if you just get on the phone and start calling your leads.

Do Not, Not call your leads, because if you don’t call them then somebody else will! You can find all the excuses you want to not pick up the phone and start phone prospecting but this is not going to get you where you want to be with your online business.

Phone prospecting is all about being bad before you become good then good before you become great. Just do it! Knowing that you will be bad, that you will suck, so what you are taking action, you don’t know these people on the other end of the phone when phone prospecting. WHO CARES!

You are learning the skills needed to become great at phone prospecting. Do ask questions, use sticky notes with your questions on them if you need to.

Phone prospecting does only happen at the speed you want it to go, so put on your jogging shoes and let’s get going.
